The type of business women we feel would benefit our networking group are:
- Professional business women who are either self-employed or an employee of a business or corporation.
- Professional business women whom you think will contribute ideas to help other business women.
- Professional business women who are enthusiastic, ambitious, and committed to networking and building The Northern Lights Group membership.
Guidelines at Meetings
- Only one business represented per member, per meeting
- No products to be sold or displayed
- Be prepared to share business cards and give a 30-second introduction
- Be prepared to share information about your business
- Think about hosting an event at your business [food or beverages not a necessity] The benefit of hosting a monthly meeting is that you can showcase your business and offer a tour of your office or facility. Great advertising opportunity!
- Please turn off cell phones or position to vibrate during our meetings to be respectful of other members, speakers or hosts.
- Try to arrive on time for organized networking meetings as it’s difficult with some of our networking venues to have late comers.
- Please exercise professional courtesy if you are unable to attend by either calling or e-mailing prior to one of our events. This is important as our hosts are planning on a headcount for beverages, appetizers, etc.
