An Update from LA Wraps

LA Wraps is officially in it’s 2nd year and we wish to thank all of our clients that helped us to reach this milestone as well as all the wonderful ladies of Northern Lights Group that have recommended us. We are so thankful to be a business here in Citrus County and have met so many really good people.

We’ve also simplified and reduced our pricing AND we’re looking to expand to a larger location suitable for adding additional equipment.

We hope that 2012 is a fantastic year for all.

A 2012 Message from Arnold Virgilio Insurance & Retirement Planning

From my family to your family, I would like to wish everyone good health, happiness, and prosperity in 2012. May you celebrate the new year with all positive influences, and make 2012 a dream-come-true year!

Looking forward to seeing everyone at the meeting on January 18th.

All the best!
Mary-Ann Virgilio

WE NEED HOUSES !!!

As 2011 quickly comes to a close, I find that my rental (and even our sales) inventory is dwindling. I have more & more people calling to rent homes that I do not have available.

If you know someone who needs to make some income on their vacant home while having it maintained, or has to sell their home – or BOTH – please let me know. I would very much appreciate it, as would our prospective tenants/buyers.

Have a happy New Year! You guys ROCK!!!

A “Jumpstart” to my 2012 New Year’s Resolutions!

As the clock is ticking to 2012, thought I would do something a little different this year. I would get a “Jumpstart” on my 2012 New Year’s Resolutions. Be proactive!

Staying in touch with friends, family, business owners, clients, drivers, networking partners, vendors, and such, is right up near the top of my list. Be more diligent in communicating. Use e-mail, snail mail, Voicemail, Facebook, texting, or why not just the good old-fashioned telephone to communicate. Alright, more than likely cell phone…I wouldn’t wait until there was some sort of crisis to communicate, as something positive is equally important.

A monthly newsletter, would be a great tool! Perhaps bi-monthly would be a little easier way to start? I don’t want to get too overzealous and renig on a New Year’s Resolution before I even get started! Yes, I think a newsletter is in order and it would be a perfect “Jumpstart” on my 2012 New Year’s Resolutions!

As 2011 is fast approaching its end, a new year is moments around the corner…2012. May it bring you good health, good friends & a promise of a great today and a better tomorrow! With that being said, I’d best start working on my newsletter!!! Now, do I send it out the beginning or the end of the month??

Eliminating or minimizing procrastination is another one of my 2012 New Year’s Resolutions! Hhmmm..but, it’s not 2012 yet!!!

Greetings from Eve Shaw~~Please continue to keep her in your prayers!!

Just want to Thank You Teri-An for sharing my story.
I am very honored to be a part of the group, it has proved very valuable to me not only in business but in personal friendships. I can’t wait to get to a meeting real soon to see ya’ll. Meanwhile!!! Please Don’t forget to get your mammograms!! there are lots of specials running this month!!

“For the Love of Eve”

On Facebook this morning, Neil Shaw sent a link of a newspaper article featured in the Citrus Chronicle, regarding our member, Eve Shaw, who was recently diagnosed with Stage III breast cancer. Those of you that attended our September Networking Event, sponsored by Sue Fullerton, Walk Don’t Run Travel, learned firsthand, of Eve’s struggle to combat this dreaded disease, as well as her financial struggles and no health insurance coverage.

Susan Mitchell, Friends of the Naturecoast Blues and a member of The Northern Lights Group, knows Eve & her husband Neil, very well. As this is National Breast Cancer Awareness month, please know that we have a “face” on this disease and help support this cause! Rachel Vazquez from our group is an organizer of a Citrus County Chapter for a fundraiser for Breast Cancer Awareness. I hope to have a group of Northern Lights Group gals participate in an upcoming fundraising event…We’re “Eve’s Angels” and hope she gains the love and support from our members.

The link to the Chronicles article is: http://www.chronicleonline.com/content/counting-cost. If you have a moment, please read and share her story. I will keep everyone informed on other fundraisers for Eve around our community to help offset the medical costs she incurring.

Get better Eve…you’re in our thoughts & prayers!!!

Mary-Ann Virgilio-Arnold Virgilio Insurance and Retirement Planning

I would like to thank everyone who attended the NLG meeting in June, and appreciated the opportunity to share information about my family and our business. I also enjoyed sharing the time with my co-host Teri-Ann, and learning more about her business as well. Ironically, it was the first time we both hosted a meeting! For those who missed the meeting, the following are excerpts from my presentation:

“My husband and I have had an insurance practice for thirty-four years, twenty-two of which have been in Citrus County. Our son Arnold works with us, and he and my husband facilitate all the quoting, and I coordinate all the administrative work! Arnold Jr. is a retired detective with the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office; and therefore quite meticulous with the business details. During the school year I also teach part-time in our school district, and have done so for the past twenty-two years. As a family, our volunteer and philanthropic work has been acknowledged by the C.C. School District, the Chamber of Commerce, and countless organizations throughout Citrus County.

Our office represents over 75 A+ insurance companies, which specialize in Health insurance for individuals and businesses, Long Term Care insurance, life insurance, dental insurance, indemnity plans; which are plans that pay you directly, disability insurance, Medicare products for those over 65, and under 65 with disabilities,. We also offer disability insurance for the self-employed, and fixed annuities for those who choose to invest without any risk. We have an affiliate who handles our home, auto, and renters’ insurance. Several of the companies we represent are; AFLAC®, BCBS of Florida®-, United Health Care, Metropolitan, Prudential, CIGNA, Aetna, Pacific Life, Fidelity, Lloyds of London, and many more. We are also the recipient of the 2008 AARP® Community Service award, which was awarded to only two agents in the state of Florida. Most of all, we can acquire insurance for anyone whether or not you have pre-existing conditions, and/or if you are seeking a specific type of insurance; such as, coverage for legs, voice, hands, etc.

I am totally confident that we will either improve, or match, any rate you currently have. If you are interested in obtaining a comparison quote, or a complimentary review, we will research all our companies to acquire the most comprehensive insurance at the lowest rates possible. In our present economic climate one must be efficient, economical and savvy. Let a professional do the shopping for you! Please call 352-726-0040. Insurance can be less expensive than you think!”

Kindest regards,
Mary-Ann Virgilio
